Daring to Build a Better Life

About Pemina

From No. 99 to Today’s Table

Every day brings something new. Pemina’s story began in the winter of 1980, when frozen food was still unfamiliar to many people in Tehran. At No. 99 Azerbaijan Street, however, something new was taking shape.

Gholam-Ali Soleimani, an entrepreneur with a vision for the future, produced Iran’s first frozen hamburger. What began as a small step became the beginning of a much larger journey—one that, more than three decades later, led to the creation of the Pemina brand in 2012.

Pemina entered the market with its first product, frozen French fries, and soon began reshaping the frozen food category through new product formats and a renewed approach to sales and distribution. Built on Solico Group’s production infrastructure and supported by a dynamic team, Pemina has grown into more than a food brand. It represents a convenient and evolving approach to everyday food.
