The project follows bilateral agreements between the two countries and is part of the cooperation framework established during the President of Iran\u2019s visit to Kazakhstan in December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the agreement, the new dairy complex will be developed in <strong>Almaty Region<\/strong>, with an annual production capacity of <strong>155,000 tons of cheese<\/strong>. The project represents an estimated investment of <strong>35.2 billion Kazakhstani tenge, equivalent to approximately USD 72 million<\/strong>, with construction already underway. The facility is scheduled to become operational in <strong>2029<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to expanding Kazakhstan\u2019s dairy processing capacity, the project is expected to create at least <strong>400 direct jobs<\/strong>. Technology transfer, training for local specialists, and the introduction of modern production technologies are also key components of the investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the signing ceremony, <strong>Aidarbek Saparov, Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan<\/strong>, highlighted attracting strategic investors to the agricultural processing sector as one of the government\u2019s priorities and described the project as an important step in the development of Kazakhstan\u2019s dairy industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its social responsibility commitments, Solico has also pledged to allocate approximately <strong>50 million Kazakhstani tenge annually from 2028 to 2038<\/strong> to support local communities and implement social and development initiatives in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once operational, the complex is expected to become one of Kazakhstan\u2019s major milk processing and cheese manufacturing projects.
